I have been feeling anxious quite often with online school, and I bet you have too. For example, there was a quiz I had to take, but the website wasn\u2019t letting me. I told my teacher in chat.\u00a0 She didn\u2019t respond, but the problem was taken care of. This devotion will hopefully give you some encouragement. Let\u2019s begin:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMom!\u201d June called from the kitchen. Bailey, the puppy, came running in as Mom closed the door.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYa?\u201d said Mom.<\/span><\/p>\n

June was too busy petting Bailey to hear. Mom had to tap her shoulder. \u201cYes?\u201d Mom asked again. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhere did you put my homework?\u201d June asked.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mom pulled Bailey away by her collar. \u201cOn the shelf,\u201d she answered.<\/span><\/p>\n

June got up and got her homework. As she just set it on the table, her little sister Emily ran in crying.\u00a0 She was only 3 \u00bd but she was very smart. \u201cJwune!\u201d she said while sobbing. <\/span><\/p>\n

June looked at her. \u201cYa?\u201d she said. <\/span><\/p>\n

“I got you teddy bwear stuckies.\u201d she cried even more. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOH NO! SHOW ME!\u201d June shouted, and they both ran upstairs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A while later June came back and saw Bailey eating her homework! \u201cBailey!\u201d June shouted. <\/span><\/p>\n

She tried to get it out of Bailey\u2019s mouth, but the dog did not let go. In fact, she tugged the other way. She thought it was a game! Of course, it ripped.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo!\u201d June shouted. She began to cry. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mom raced in. \u201cWhat’s going on?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cM-my thing rip-p-ed!\u201d she said as she pointed at Bailey, who chewed on the ruins of her homework. \u201cMy teacher is going to be so mad.\u201d she kept crying. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mom looked at her. \u201cDon\u2019t be anxious June, Philippians 4:6 says something wonderful. Let me read it\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mom pulled out her Bible and read, \u201cDo not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

June looked up. \u201cSo I should tell God? And he will help me get through?\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Mom nodded. \u201cHe is always there for you, and I am too. I will call your teacher. You don’t need to work anymore today. I think you learned enough for today.”<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
