Welcome! This is my Fun Friday countdown! We are doing it on a Thursday so you can do it before Christmas day!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This post is packed with crafts, cookies, and more! Let\u2019s start our adventure!<\/span><\/p>\n

You may think Christmas is about family and presents. In a way it is, but that\u2019s not the reason we celebrate Christmas. <\/span><\/p>\n

So why do we celebrate Christmas? Because we are celebrating Jesus’ birth! That was something to remember! The word Christ is even in <\/span>Christ<\/span>mas!\u00a0 Let\u2019s spread some holiday cheer by starting of with a craft!<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Mini Christmas Tree\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you want a Christmas tree in your room but can\u2019t have one this is what to do!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What you need:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Green paper or paper with green coloring tools<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0Beads\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Glue<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Stickers (if you don\u2019t have it\u2019s fine,stars are best)<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. \u00a0String<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Scissors<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Now get your green paper and cut a Christmas tree shape out of it. Once you are done, glue beads on it to look like ornaments. Now, use the stickers and put something on the top of your tree! Use the string to tie it to a hanger so you can hang it up!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    2. Christmas Snacks<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Mmmm!\u00a0 The smell of Santa\u2019s\u00a0 cookies are in the air!\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

    Wait!\u00a0 What about the reindeer? They need a snack too. After flying all around the world they must be hungry! Let\u2019s make some reindeer food!<\/span><\/p>\n

    What you need:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Marshmallows<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. \u00a0Raisins<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Carrots<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Sprinkles<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. \u00a0A bag<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Great! Now that you have everything, we can start! First, put the marshmallows in the bag. Don\u201dt fill the bag just yet. Next, put the raisins in! Don\u2019t make a mess! Finally, add some carrot slices! Great!<\/span><\/p>\n

      Hmmm…it\u2019s missing something. Of course! Sprinkles! Add some and shake it up!<\/span><\/p>\n

      On Christmas Eve, sprinkle it in your yard. Santa will be there soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

      3. Christmas Gifts<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Now, the final activity. Is\u2026.to create Christmas presents! <\/span><\/p>\n

      Are you broke and can\u2019t pay for Christmas gifts? Well, this is what to do! This will cover Mom and Dad!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      For Dad:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. \u00a0A piece of flat wood<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Markers or pen<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        So\u2026\u2026 let\u2019s begin<\/span><\/p>\n

        First take the wood. Then write something like, \u201c#1 Dad\u201d or \u201c Best Father Ever!\u201d Write what you can fit to tell your dad he is amazing. Then hide it where your dog can\u2019t eat it. Make sure to give it to him on Christmas!<\/span><\/p>\n

        Now for Mom:<\/span><\/p>\n

        She needs a special Christmas. So here is a quick Christmas ornament you can make with NO help!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        What you need<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. \u00a0Paper<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. \u00a0String<\/span><\/li>\n
        3. \u00a0Writing utensils\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        4. Scissors<\/span><\/li>\n
        5. Colorful markers or crayons\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Get the paper and color it to say something like, “I love you, Mom.”\u00a0 Then cut it out and make sure it’s small enough to hang from a tree. Make holes in it, put the string through, and make it so a branch could fit through. Now you are done.\u00a0 Your mom will love it!<\/span><\/p>\n
