Dad raced upstairs to find James on top of <\/span>Sydney. He was slapping her. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dad got them off of each other and said, <\/span>\u201cDo you two want to go back to kindergarten? This is how two-year-olds act! Our Bible study this morning was about kindness! Did you already forget?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

James spoke up and said, \u201cShe started it . . .\u00a0 I was just watching my show and she said, my turn<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Then Sydney said, \u201cHe was on it for a hour!\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cProverbs 11:17 says a kind man benefits himself, and a cruel man hurts himself. It means when you are kind you get a reward, but when you are not kind you get some sort of punishment,\u201d Dad said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLike what?\u201d Sydney asked.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLike a time out or just feeling guilty,\u201d Dad said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThat is true,\u201d said Jamie.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, no more fighting!\u201d said Dad.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHey,\u201d said Jamie, \u201cwanna watch a movie with me?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As you can see, kindness is very important.\u00a0 When you are kind to others, you will have more peace.\u00a0 You will make friends.\u00a0 Your life at home will be better.\u00a0 Try to remember this the next time you feel yourself getting angry.<\/p>\n
