Join the Book Launch Team for Our New Mother-Daughter Devotional Book!

Bekah and I have an exciting announcement today!  In a few weeks, we will release our second mother-daughter devotional book, and we’re currently gathering our launch team of supporters.

Our new book is called Heart to Heart: A Mother-Daughter Devotional With 50 Devotions for Teen Girls.  We’d love your support as we send this book into the world.

Two years ago, we published a mother-daughter devotional for younger girls called Girl to Girl: 60 Mother-Daughter Devotions for a Closer Relationship and Deeper Faith.  We’ve received amazing and positive feedback from moms and daughters who have grown closer together and closer to God through this book.  Now that Bekah is a teenager, we felt led to write a second mother-daughter devotional book specifically for teen girls and moms.

Like Girl to Girl, Heart to Heart is unique for two reasons.

First, it is co-written for teen girls by a teen girl.

Second, this is more than a daily devotional.  It features a shared journaling section after each of the 50 devotions.  Here, moms and daughters can write about challenging topics that can be awkward to discuss in person.

Many moms and teens have a tough time talking about topics like dating, peer pressure, purity, and even what it means to walk with God.  We hope to create a safe space where writing about these topics allows transparency and vulnerability that can be hard to find in person.

What Is a Book Launch Team?

If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you’re probably familiar with the idea of a launch team.  A launch team helps promote a new book by writing Amazon reviews and sharing the news about the book’s release.

I prefer to host low-key launch teams, to which many are invited, regardless of their ability to be a highly active part of the launch.  Would you consider being a part of the team as a practical way to support us?

Those who sign up will get a free PDF file of the book to download and read.  If you enjoy it, we ask that you write an Amazon review after the book goes on sale at the beginning of November.

We will also invite you to a Facebook launch page, where we’ll host weekly giveaways and post videos and graphics to share.  If you’re not into Facebook, that’s fine.  We’d love to send you a PDF file of the book if you will consider writing a review on Amazon in a few weeks.

Most of all, we would love your prayers over this book.  Being a teen in today’s world isn’t easy.  We’re praying this book helps teen girls navigate the obstacles they are facing, leads them closer to God, and opens doors of communication with their moms (or grandmas, aunts, older sisters, or mentors).
